Vital Roots Sustainable Wellness currently houses one practioner, Meg Darnell, NTP. Meg studied nutrition at UGA, receiving her BA in Family & Consumer Sciences. She's worked in the restaurant field for 15 years, while continually consuming the latest nutrition literature. In 2012, Meg and her husband Gus, started Community Meat Co., a sustainable meat co-op in the Athens area. They raise pastured chicken on their property in Colbert, GA. In 2016, she was certified as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner by the NTA. The NTA focuses on a holistic, foundational approach to optimal health. Meg has been on a quest for finding sustainable solutions to her health issues and is excited to help others on theirs.
